Kariki Juja, Kenya

Kariki comprises 4 flower farms located at differing altitudes in Kenya employing over 1300 people. They grow a variety of roses for export. Their recent implementation of solar technologies in place of unclean fuel sources boosts their environmental stewardship in an industrial setting. This results in increased energy independence for the local business, cost reduction and reduced air and noise pollution.
